Because Jindřiška Kracíková decided to write about Jičín. About its monuments, landscape, people and events. About people from the past and those who live here today. In doing so, she framed her story as entirely fictional. The author does not hide the fact that she wants to be critical. She admitted that she likes to write dialogues. On the other hand, she shared that life practice taught her to write any text on demand.

When asked if the publisher had axed the author, both ladies smiled and said that they always managed to come to an agreement. But there were problems with the printer. The book is written in the first person as the heroine narrates. The electronic message inserts are interesting here, which are set on a blue background in a darker blue font. They are texts from the protagonist's e-mail, which she comments on (in black letters). An interesting way to replace illustrations to some extent.

One quote at the end: "The most important thing is to raise children and stay with your husband." Others on the 237 pages of the book.
