Serial production is to distinguish CT from commercial television

The CEO of Czech Television Petr Dvořák together with the program director at a press conference emphasized the effort to differentiate themselves from commercial television mainly in the quality of serial and film production.While commercial stations have their long -term and very watched series, Czech Television can open new topics.The resulting product should not only be interesting but also in part also educational.

Space for new talented authors and graduates of film schools

“Czech Television has made five original series and mini -series for the coming autumn.We cooperated not only with leading Czech creators, but we also gave the space to young, talented authors.For example, a group of fresh graduates of film schools who developed their original theme under the leadership of the famous Hollywood screenwriter Harod Apter.Similarly, in Rédl, thanks to the combination of director Jan Hřebejk with a novice, talented screenwriter Miro Šiprou, an original serial return to the 1990s, ”says Czech Television CEO Petr Dvořák.
