LOOK: The village of Tmaň opened a stylish restaurant, it was possible even without a subsidy

The municipality hired a design studio to design the new form of Kulturák. The main room is decorated with enlargements of historical photos of Tmana, which were chosen by the locals through a poll. "We went into it without a subsidy, because it usually involves certain difficulties. The planned costs had to be changed about three times due to price developments and changes in the project. In the end, we got a little over three and a half million crowns, just the kitchen equipment alone cost a million," says Frühling.

The municipality is counting on the next stage, which will concern the hall of the cultural center, connected to the restaurant. "From the pub, you can walk into it through a well-designed room, which is used as a bar at balls and other social events. There will be a newly renovated stylish bar, work should start next year. Then it should be the hall's turn," adds the mayor.

The restaurant has been in operation for three weeks. "We had a busy first weekend, but unfortunately it's falling a bit because of the measures. That's why we try to make special offers. We have to survive the winter, with the opening of the gardens it will definitely start," believes Kulturák operator Radek Nedvěd.
