Weigh the necessary amount of material, which you cut into smaller pieces for faster dissolution. Put it in a smaller pan and put it in a water bath, which will ensure that the mass does not get too hot and thus does not destroy. For example, if it started to boil, bubbles would form in it, which would remain in the soap, and the mass would become cloudy. Do the same as when heating the chocolate.

The soap mass can also be heated in a microwave oven. In this case, use a microwave-safe container and set the appliance to the lowest power. Instead, set a shorter time, which you can extend if necessary.

Once the mass is dissolved, you can color it, add aroma, herbs, spices, natural peels, dried flowers… In short, everything that makes the soap nicer.

Pour the mixture prepared in this way into molds. You will find original silicone soap molds on the market, but don't be afraid to experiment. You can prepare the soap mass at home, the basis for work will be quality olive or Marseille soap. Grate such soap on a grater, put it in a saucepan and add 350 ml of distilled water to 150 grams of soap. Slowly heat the water on the hotplate until the soap dissolves and must not boil again. Follow the instructions above with the material prepared in this way. Classically, soap is made from sodium hydroxide (lye) and oils and fats, but this is no longer fun, because lye is corrosive.
