If you choose an older apartment and have your finances sorted out, it is not a problem to buy an apartment basically immediately. You can live like that in just a few weeks. However, if you want to renovate, it is a good idea to do it before you move in. And this will prolong the whole process. If you want a new apartment in a new building, you will usually have to wait for it before it is even built, sometimes more than two years. It is worse with houses. There are not as many of them on the market as there are apartments, and mainly people want to have their own house built. Therefore, they must first find a plot of land and only then start solving the construction itself. But if you don't want anything original, fortunately these days you can buy custom-made house projects that are very attractive and take into account the needs of small and large families. Buying a finished project will save you at least half a year. If you decide on an original house from an architect, the whole project will become more expensive and, above all, longer. First, an architectural study must be put together, and only then will the original project for the building permit begin. With the finished project, you still need to obtain building and other permits, and only after that you can start building. Sometimes this preparatory process can take a year or more. Whether you choose an original or a ready-made house project, always choose a reliable and verified design or architectural office with a number of references. Maintenance also costs something. and maintenance of your home, then forget about the house. Even a new house constantly needs your attention. It is time- and financially demanding. If you want to save work, think about possible future maintenance costs when building a house and invest in quality materials and technologies from verified suppliers. Bet on modern technological solutions, such as solar panels, heat pumps, recuperation, etc., which will save you energy in the future. However, of course, problems can also arise in an apartment, even in a new building, where construction deficiencies or problems may gradually become apparent with the neighbors.
