Agriculture and aromatic spices were influenced by several generations of the Denisa Kubálková family.The mother of three children and now also the owner of the pension has courage and enthusiasm in genes.They say that when you enjoy something, you can do a lot of things.It saves family property, which he perceives as a responsibility to ancestors who have been farmers for generations.

The old well was covered with a pig for years.An interesting structure of the facade was ensured by a combination of ticked areas around windows and walls cleaned into stone.

She tried various work, especially those that required current situations: construction, field, garden, kitchen…

The centered story began as a fairy tale that turned into hell after the war.Denis's great -grandfather bought the local estate in 1926, including the castle, estate, fields and forests.The family moved to the village of Obříství from Čáslav with the intention to grow cumin.The economy was prospering and the loans managed to pay off within ten years.

“In 1948, the party deputy initiated Lynč and pulled the People's Militia members from the castle to hang it on the square.The locals stood up for my ancestors because they helped them during the war.So it ended with a binding and a condition to move out of the castle.Their children emigrated that day, ”recalls Denisa.

And he continues: “My grandfather and grandmother ended up in Australia, with the belief that they would also receive two little children who had to leave here.That never succeeded and both siblings raised grandparents.The property was nationalized. ”

One of the siblings of raised grandparents was her father, who after the Velvet Revolution contributed to the return of at least part of the property.

Slowly but surely

The estate took the farm after the war and managed it until the revolution.As part of the restitution, the family gained half of the property, the other had to buy from the state.At that time, no one in the family was ready to start reconstruction.Denisa's grandmother never came to see her age, his grandfather died a year before the revolution.

Denisa has helped her father who started farming here since her childhood.She moved to the farm when she graduated from a secondary agricultural school.She worked as a zootechnic and modified the apartment in one of the buildings.In the surrounding farms, animal production was gradually disturbed, so the building opened the building.

She admits that she was found in the field and began with a gradual reconstruction.“Plus, the objects were not listed.I did not understand it very much at first, but I was lucky with quality craftsmen, whom I have committed building material.The bricklayers and carpenters listened to because they saw that I was tough and insistent, ”says Denisa amused.

Denisa worked in furnishing with contrast - the distinctive color of the chair's upholstery revived the prevailing earthy tones.

And he adds: “In the reconstruction, it has always been the biggest nut to persuade craftsmen or construction companies so that the result is not only functional, but also nice.For example, they persuaded me to put plastic windows, they wanted to cover the beams with plasterboard in the attic. ”

Lightweight

“I never moved and move.It's my fourth child.When children fall asleep, I look for what else and how to fix and buy.Children like here, we are in the village, have room for playing, we keep dogs.My husband says I chose the most demanding and expensive hobby.He is a builder, so he sometimes suffers when he sees some situations to deal emotionally and not technically.The combination of stone and stucco facades was his design, added an interesting look and the guest house.I found out that the windows used to be white, so I returned them to the original color, ”says Denisa.

Strong walls act as natural air conditioning, inside it is pleasant even in summer.Objects heated by thermal pumps have floor heating installed in the rooms.Denisa admits that she did not believe the "flooring".She soon found out that she was an ideal solution for an old house in which she managed to tempera and dry every corner.

“I wanted the farm to remain a farm, but not peasant to make the interiors look light.I like the Tuscan style, I was inspired on the road to Italy and Pinterest.For every fabric, wallpaper, piece of furniture I know where I bought them, as I chose the shade and patin the cabinets.The original parquet after great -grandmother protected the old PVC from the team, I searched for historical chandeliers in bazaars.I also went around the furniture chains.I tuned everything in style, natural look ‘, ie wood, nothing artificial.I have adapted the details, and we have feather, ”he adds with a smile.

In a fertile wedge between Labem and Vltava

The farm is one of the largest in Bohemia.Denisa grows not only cumin, wheat, potatoes and diabetes, with her husband and children founded an apple orchard.Like the great -grandfather, she had to take loans.For the reconstruction of the pension, she managed to obtain a subsidy for agrotourism, which partly covered large construction costs.

“I am happy to return everything to its original state and do not push me terms.They only give me the buildings themselves.Responsibility to them drives me forward.But as soon as you touch something, ten things come out, which is a reconstruction tax, ”says Denisa.

The symbolic cumin was supplied by Unionocel according to the owner of the owner.It is part of the main courtyard.

Thanks to the local fertile region, the former collective farm.They used buildings that at least lived and did not turn, which facilitated reconstruction.When the family took over the farm, it turned out that some cellars, chimneys and wells were covered with waste.

There were also black pigs and black buildings, because the cooperatives could breed a pig at one time.The original ponds and gardens in the courtyard disappeared under concrete and asphalt, but part of the return to the original is the cultivation of the main courtyard.
