The original equipment was from the time of the construction of a prefabricated house and made no sense to save any of this.The new layout was created rapidly.

“The passage from the hallway to the kitchen was used to enlarge the bathroom and a new entrance to the kitchen was created from the living room.Although the planned generous hole was planned, ie the connection of the kitchen with the living space, the construction company had to follow the requirements of the statics.The panel wall cannot be 'sold' arbitrarily, ”notessheetitectMarcela Kubů.

The entire umakart core has been dismantled and a new design has been created.In order for a construction company to avoid demanding wet processes, ie mainly masonry, and accelerate the construction, new walls are made of plasterboard.Thanks to mineral insulation they have better acoustic properties and are bearing.

"We have good experience with them both in the bathroom and in the kitchen, where in addition to increased moisture and the requirement for high load capacity due to the assembly of the kitchen unit," says the site manager, who supervised the construction.

The advantage is that the plasterboard walls do not burden the existing load -bearing structure as much as the classic masonry partitions.Of course there were new wiring of water, waste and electricity.In the bedroom and living space we managed to save parquet, other surfaces, floors and walls, are newly.

Kitchen was made to measure, but other furniture was selected in conventional furniture chains.This kept the total cost of reconstruction under the agreed edge and the apartment was handed over to the owner in less than four weeks.
