The difference in costs after the subsidy is exhausted will be covered by the region and the home from their own funds.
In July of this year, the Plzeň region applied for a subsidy for the reconstruction of the Kralovice Social Care Home from the "Program 013310 development and renewal of the material and technical base of social services, Objective 1, increasing the capacity of residential facilities of social services". "We consider it essential to improve the quality of social services for our clients. That's why we decided to apply for a subsidy for the addition of a new pavilion in the home. After the subsidy has been exhausted, the remaining amount of CZK 134 million will be paid from the organization's saved financial resources and from the budget of the Pilsen region," said Pavel Karpíšek, deputy governor for the economy, investments and property.

"The new pavilion will offer 54 beds and, above all, a modern kitchen facility will be created in the basement. Modernization will also take place in the boiler room, where modern technologies such as heat pumps will be used," said Deputy Governor for Social Affairs Rudolf Špoták.
In the new pavilion of the home, a service with a special regime and a service for the elderly will be provided. A completely new, modern kitchen facility will be created in the basement of the new pavilion, and the reconstruction will also affect the technology of the boiler room, where heat pumps will be installed. The expected end of the reconstruction is planned for November 2024. The social care home Kralovice currently has a capacity of 90 beds.
