The youngest part of the Wallachian Nature Museum is the Mlýnská dolina, which was opened to the public in 1982.The local Valcha, Mill and Pila are copies of buildings from Velké Karlovice, the oil mill is the original building of 18.century.Hamr is a reconstruction of operation from Ostravice.With the exception of the press room all mechanisms drive the water force.

Opening hours

The Wallachian Nature Museum is open all year except Monday.Admission is 120 CZK for adults, 100 for students 15-26 years and seniors over 65 years, 80 CZK for pupils 6-15 years.

Transport

By car through Olomouc, Hranice, Valašské Meziříčí to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.You can also travel by train to Olomouc and from there by bus to Rožnov or by train to Valašské Meziříčí and then to Rožnov or train to Přerov and from there by bus.You can also reach Rožnov by bus from Ostrava.
