Home3x7 Klára

Are you thinking of combining camping, swimming, fun for children and dogs and getting to know our metropolis together? Looking for the right place for it? Then I have a great tip for you. This is a really beautiful camp on the outskirts of Prague, which includes not only all services, but also endless entertainment for children in the price of the stay. And it's definitely worth a visit. Welcome to the family campsite Camping Oase Praha, where a large orchard and strawberry farm were located 28 years ago.

A great campsite near Prague - that's Camping Oase Praha

I've been thinking about visiting this campsite for a really long time. However, since I myself live on the outskirts of Prague, I always pushed her away in the end. Today I know it was a mistake. Especially when we were traveling with our younger daughter just a few years ago, for whom the pool and endless entertainment options at the campsite were the basis. Therefore, if you have small children and you are looking for a camp where they can have fun from morning to night and their additional experiences will not cost you extra money (trampolines, karts, air hockey, table football, outdoor chess, mini golf, etc.) - you have almost decided . Go to the Oase Praha campsite. And watch out. Although the camp is located near Prague, if you long for a trip to nature, you have less than 8 kilometers to Jílové near Prague, in the vicinity of which you will find the Nature Park Střed Cech with many tourist attractions. You can also find Průhonický Park or Little and Big America nearby.

What can your children look forward to at the camp?

There is really a lot of fun here. As an example, I mention two large trampolines near the outdoor pool. In case of bad weather, children will not lose the opportunity to swim, because the camp also has an indoor pool. During the day, they can borrow go-karts or other pushers and rides at any time, while the little ones will enjoy playing in the sandpit, where there are diggers, dolls and other toys. If you have slightly older children, then they will certainly be attracted by the possibility of playing air hockey, table football or mini golf. Do you want to try the ever so popular kolonozka? No problem, because all of this is of course included in your stay for FREE.

  • Your children can develop their creativity in the local mini club with animators - in the summer they organize rich animation programs 3 times a day, which include, for example, archery, segway riding, large remote control AWD cars and much more. Doesn't that seem like enough? The list of entertainment certainly does not end there. Another lot is beach volleyball or a football field. I almost forgot - you will also find several playgrounds here for both young and old children, and animal lovers will not be deprived either. There is also an enclosure with horses and a pen with rabbits in the campsite. Do you have a dog? He won't miss out on experiences either. A 1 ha large meadow with agility obstacles is available at the campsite for running and walking dogs.

  • Svatá Hora

National cultural monument Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Svatá Hora is an important baroque site and place of pilgrimage, rising above the city of Příbram at a height of approx. 590 m for more than 300 years. According to rumors, the beginnings of the cult of the love statue of P. Maria Svatohorská are connected with the time of Archbishop Arnošt of Pardubice in the middle of the 14th century. According to a well-known legend, he should have carved the statue of P. Marie himself from pear wood. The year 1647 was decisive in the history of the Holy Mountain, when the Jesuits acquired the relatively little-known chapel and, according to the plans of Carl Lurag and P. Benjamin Schleyer, they began to generously rebuild it into a magnificent temple from 1658. The main construction of the complex took place in 1658–1675. This extremely valuable monument of the Czech Baroque of the 17th century was decorated by a number of artists, led by the world-famous sculptor J. Brokoff, painter P. Brandl and others. Svatá Hora underwent a very extensive reconstruction, which also affected the courtyard in front of the church (Svatohorské pilgrimage square) in 2015. svata-hora.cz

    Příbram Mining Museum

The former glory of Příbram mining is commemorated by the Příbram Mining Museum – an open-air mining museum in the Březový Hory located in the area of the Vojtěch mine, the Anenská shaft and the Ševčín mine. The number of historical objects with exhibitions made this museum the largest mining museum in the Czech Republic. Expositions located in historical operational and administrative buildings bring to light the rich montane past associated with the mining of silver, uranium and other ores. The museum allows you to ride a mining train on the surface and underground, tour several kilometers of tunnels, take a lift, ride a slide to a giant water wheel, learn about unique steam mining machines and an extensive mineralogical collection or Havíř folklore. museum-pribram

    Letná

The unmissable hill between Holešovice and Hradčany remains the largest undeveloped area in the center of Prague; part of it covers one of Prague's largest parks. But today's Letná offers more than just a pleasant walk through the city green. It is, above all, a distinctive district, where history has walked, sometimes literally, and left behind many interesting traces. At the same time, it is one of the most rapidly developing neighborhoods in Prague with many cozy cafes, non-traditional shops and other places worth visiting. Among the old-timers in the last decade, a number of bohemian or artistic-minded people have added, who have added a considerable amount of hipster charm and creativity to the charm of the district. Petřínské sady

Petřín hill is one of the largest urban green areas and its slopes are an oasis of calm in the center of Prague. The Rose Garden or rosarium on the Petrin Plateau, the Nebozízek Garden or the Seminary Garden with more than 2,100 fruit trees are especially magical. Sady is a popular place for couples in love and families with children. You can take a cable car to the top of the hill. The Petřín lookout tower attracts lookouts, and the Mirror Maze never disappoints as a fun attraction. The park is interspersed with footpaths with benches, there are also several playgrounds. prague.eu

    And where to eat well?

I recommend the restaurant at the Oase Praha campsite. Gastronomic expert and chef "Pepan" is now "officiating" in it. And when I write that he is a gastronomic expert, I'm not lying. If there is time, Pepan will be happy to sit with you and talk about magic and tips in the kitchen, as well as in the meantime, of course, he will cook a meal that will leave you licking your lips for a long time. For example, I had a "chicken roulade" there, and that was literally a fantasy for my taste buds, which pushed my idea of this dish miles away. My colleague David had a steak there and he also praised it very much. As a "sky" for your meal, you get a perfectly seasoned, fresh salad. Therefore, I definitely recommend having at least one lunch or dinner there. Oh, and if you'd like homemade barbecue sausages or butter, Pepan can do that too. You just need to not be afraid and order it from him. Trust me you will be satisfied. campingoase.cz
