The fact that the garden returned to its original state a few years ago became due to chance and happiness.Petr Pacák from Gardening Trees, which is dedicated to the design and realization of mainly private gardens, got acquainted and made friends with Soňa Scheinpflugová.

“It was thanks to her that we were given the opportunity to put the garden at the Villa of the Čapků brothers in Vinohrady, for more than half a century, to its original state.The great inspiration for its renewal was the correspondence of Karel and Josef Čapek with a member of the Dendrological Society in Průhonice, inspector František Zeman, ”explains Petr Pacák.

Karel Čapek devoted a lot of time and effort to the garden.Its present (reconstruction took place in 2005) would certainly be happy.

He knew the book Zahradníků for a year, but only during the study of correspondence and during the reconstruction of the garden itself realized how much enthusiasm and passionate brothers Čapková gave his field to his field.

"The respect and the matter of course with which the Čapková brothers approach the gardening and each plant separately is very close to us," says Petr Pacák, who continues to take care of the garden.He also worked closely with Zdeněk Kiesenbauer of the Research Institute Sylva Tarouca for the landscape and ornamental gardening in Průhonice.

The good relations of Petr Pacák and family members published this year before Christmas and "book" fruits: Trees published the book Karel Čapek Zahradníkův year with illustrations Josef Čapek.However, she added an attractive accessory, two CDs, on which the book was in an amazing way actor Josef Somr.
